I wrote some music to GoodCoffee's newest 'A Cup of Coffee' video series, featuring the incredibly lovely Ki cafe in Setagaya Daita. It was a pleasure to make this - Yuko is an amazing barista with a very infectious smile and the place has a great vibe.

My first live performance here in Tokyo will be with the sublime guitarist Takashi Masubuchi at Enban, in Koenji. There will also be a stellar lineup of international improvising artists, so it's sure to be a special night.

I don't have ready access to a piano here in my apartment in Tokyo, but it's made me able to work a bit more on the laptop side of things. if anyone's interested to hear what I'm up to, i'll be trying to increase my output from now on - starting with this!

This collection of handmade music I recorded about a year ago on rundown Yamaha uprights in Kyoto has been hibernating in my computer for quite a long time, and while I didn't get around to producing any hard copies I feel like it's ready to get a taste of the real world.
